Intro: The Bible says that Heaven, the City of God, is a beautiful place! Every person I meet aspires to heaven! Knowing that we will travel to a glorious eternal city after this life is wonderful. where we can unwind from our labors and live forever with God. Numerous saints have been
reassured by thoughts of that lovely land, and numerous messages have been preached on Heaven. I hope that this message will also be beneficial. Ill. Selah is a meditation pause and a signal to raise the voice. To put it another way, it's a time to shout as we contemplate our future and the things of God! Dr. Alfred Whitehead wrote, "As for Christian theology, can you imagine anything more appallingly idiotic than the Christian idea of Heaven?" Not everyone believes in Heaven. Because we hold the belief that there is a place called heaven, Dr. Whitehead claims that you and I are fools. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be a fool in heaven than in hell! I want you to take a moment of rest tonight and then reflect on the splendors of Heaven. I'd like to talk to you about the idea "I've Got A Home in Gloryland." I. Its splendor is admirable, as evidenced by its stately appearance (Rev. 21:10–27); 1 Corinthians 1:6; Rev. 2:9) (Ill. Heaven is the love gift that the Bridegroom gives to the Bride! - B. In Its Sinless Environment - Rev. 21:27 (Ill. No Sin, Tendency, or Fear!) II. A. The Sovereign God Will Be There - Rev. 21:3-4 (Ill. We will see God!) Its occupants are glorious. B. There are a lot of messages being spread today, but not all of them are positive ones! However, the message from Heaven is one of love, one that is beneficial to all men and one that is required by all men! B. Matt.: A King Leaves Heaven 1:18-23; A King Dies - 1 Cor. 1:1-14 C. 15:3-4; D. A King Overcomes Death - Matthew 19:30 28:1-6 E. John 3:16: "A King Describes the Way Home" John 6:47; John 5:24; John 6:37; Acts 16:31; 9 of Romans 10; Romans 10:13 summarizes: For a gloriously saved people, heaven is a glorious land. Will you be going? If that's the case, congratulations! If that is not the case, I can assure you that you can make preparations for your trip to Heaven right now. Simply accepting Jesus as your personal Savior is all that is required. Will you complete it now? People who are saved go to heaven, while people who are lost go to hell! When you leave this world, where do you want to go? You have to choose. The time has come.
